New Guitar Hero DLC From Linkin Park, KISS

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and <>DJ Hero 2 have new downloadable content from KISS and Linkin Park.

The KISS-mas Track Pack, out this week, contains "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Detroit Rock City" and "Calling Dr. Love."

Two Linkin Park tracks off of A Thousand Suns have received the exclusive DJ Hero remix treatment as downloadable content for DJ Hero 2, including "The Catalyst (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix)" and a mashup of "When They Come For Me" by Diplo. The Linkin Park Mix Pack also includes a mashup of "Pts.OF.Athrty".

Linkin Park to play Download 2011

For the Download Festival 2011,Linkin Park have been confirmed to play.

Fourth album by the US rockers A Thousand Suns went number two in UK charts,will join System Of A Down and Grammy award-winning musician-director Rob Zombie at Donington Park in June next year.

Frontman Chester Bennington said: "We are very excited to be playing Download again next year. It's one of the best festivals in the world and it's always an honour to play in front of such a great crowd. We can't wait!"

Linkin Park Plots 2011 Tour

Linkin Park has finally announced details about their first full U.S. tour since 2008. The trek, which comes in support of the new album, A Thousand Suns, will kick off on January 20 in Sunrise, FL. Supporting Linkin Park on various dates will be The Prodigy from February 15 to 26, and Pendulum and Does It Offend You, Yeah? will be the opening acts from January 20 through February 11. Tickets to the general public will begin going on sale on Saturday, November 20, but fans can go to www.linkinpark.com to learn how to get their tickets immediately through a special offer on the band's web site.

The tour's set list will of course combine hits from throughout Linkin Park's career with material from the new album. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington says, "The new songs work really well alongside the older stuff. Plus, there's a strong, powerful message to A Thousand Suns, and we've transferred that into the show. Our aim was that we're not just putting on a live performance, but something that's visually spectacular as well."

As an added bonus, fans who purchase tickets will be able to download a live recording of the show they attended by texting a code from their mobile phones that will be displayed at the venue. Additionally, one dollar for each ticket sold will go to Music For Relief, a charity founded by Linkin Park to provide relief to victims of natural disasters and to bring awareness to solutions to the global warming challenge.

Linkin Park Free MTV Shows is the top story

Katy Perry and Linkin Park Free MTV Shows was a headline of this week . Here is the recap: MTV will grasp a string of free, live music show at the Puerta de Alcala in the Plaza de la Independcia in Madrid as part of the 2010 MTV EMAs.

Over two days, artists will perform a series of free concerts at the Puerta De Alcala, starting on Saturday 6 November with MTV Days, a live open-air concert devoted to modern Spanish artists and bands.

On Sunday 7 November between 6pm and 9:45pm CET, Katy Perry and Linkin Park have performed live acts, with a track from each artist ray directly into the Caja Magica, during the MTV EMA live concert.

Muse, Ozzy Osbourne and Gorillaz had each and every one been up for awards at the show in Madrid last night.


Thirty Seconds to Mars got the Best Rock Act award and the Best Alternative Act won by Paramore. The Global Icon Award has won by Bon Jovi.

List of awards and nominations received by Linkin Park

Linkin Park launched its first album Hybrid Theory on October 24, 2000. In 2001, the group won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock acts. Linkin Park's second album Meteora sold more than 80k copies during its first week, and it ranked as the best selling album on the Billboard charts at the time. Due to this he was so much popular in the list of getting nominations and awards. The group worked with Jay-Z to produce an album entitled Collision Course; "Numb/Encore", a single from the album, won a Grammy Award the next year. Linkin Park's most recent album Minutes to Midnight was released in 2007 despite initially stating the album would debut in 2006. The album was listed for a TMF Award in 2007, while "What I've Done", a single from the album, was selected for an MTV Video Music Award. Linkin Park has recently won in the Favourite International Artist of Asia category at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards. On the whole, Linkin Park has got 24 awards from 49 nominations.

Introduction To Linkin Park

Linkin Park is a group from California State. The group contains Joe “Mr. Hahn” Hahn, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell (a.k.a. Phoenix), Chester Bennington, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon.

The band name launched under the name of “Hybrid Theory”, the band’s first album, Hybrid Theory EP was launched in 1995. Only 1000 copies of this very exceptional original EP were prepared.

The group’s first full studio album, Hybrid Theory, launched in 2001, had a great success, selling 42 million copies globally as of October 2009. Among its singles were One Step Closer, Crawling, and the group’s highest-selling single, In the End. In 2001, the band released “Frat party at the pancake festival

The band performed Live in Texas. It was a chance for fans who have not been to the band’s gigs to see their performance live.
