Linkin Park have built his fifth studio album, the "a lot of quality songs", according to frontman Chester Bennington.
Previous month rapper Mike Shonida revealed that a follow-up to 2010's A Thousand Suns will soon be on its way.
Bennington has now told Rolling Stone that to complete the band's latest album "well on [the] way" and that next year they are planning to release.
He said, "We're in the studio and we're well on our way to making our next record. I can tell you that we have a lot of good music, a lot of quality songs."
Bennington said the band plans to add more content and less frequently visited. Linkin Park's new album release in four years between the two and a half ago did.
The singer also said that "awesome" a new album every 18 months will be issued.
