Linkin Park rapper Mike Shinoda said about fifth studio album

Linkin Park rapper Mike Shinoda said the band's fifth studio album, they already have started work on the recording.

Currently, the band's latest album A Thousand Suns from Transformers: The Black Moon for the theme song are as 'Iridescent' promotion, but insists on the implementation of the is already underway.

Shinoda told MTV News, "We're always writing. We kind of write it and record it at the same time, we can do it on the road at all times."

He explained, "But what it takes to go from one of those demos to a finished song, I mean, we really obsess over it. It takes a while."

The band is as yet untitled fifth album, Shindo still be a release date of early to say that fans can expect to hear later.

He promised, "We do have a really great head start. The creativity has continued to flow for us for the last few years. So we do plan on having this record out much quicker than what we've turned out in the past."

Shinoda also revealed that, like previous albums. Linkin Park will show off the new record a slightly different way.

Linkin Park are confirmed to perform at Download Festival

Linkin Park, his third event back to the UK on 12 June in the headline to a close with a rain-sodden Download to festival.

For this band previous headlined bill at the Donington rock bash in 2007, kicked off their 21-song set with 'The Requiem'.

Frontmen Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington liberally released the "thank yous" as the band on the crowd, who also revealed on the festival headlined on 2004, brought this year's three-day event to a close.

Linkin Park revealed his forthcoming movie Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

Linkin Park revealed his forthcoming movie Transformers: Dark Of The Moon on VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia on Thursday, June 2 at 8PM ET

Linkin Park will perform a particular outdoor concert at Vasilyevsky Spusk of the Red Square in Moscow at the Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiere on June 23rd.

Linkin Park's forthcoming European tour will start on 11th June in Austria with stadium, festival or arena shows in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Switzerland, Italy and Belgium.
