Linkin Park have built his fifth studio album, the "a lot of quality songs", according to frontman Chester Bennington.

Previous month rapper Mike Shonida revealed that a follow-up to 2010's A Thousand Suns will soon be on its way.

Bennington has now told Rolling Stone that to complete the band's latest album "well on [the] way" and that next year they are planning to release.

He said, "We're in the studio and we're well on our way to making our next record. I can tell you that we have a lot of good music, a lot of quality songs."

Bennington said the band plans to add more content and less frequently visited. Linkin Park's new album release in four years between the two and a half ago did.

The singer also said that "awesome" a new album every 18 months will be issued.

The Frontman admitted that he is a full blown''full blown, raging alcoholic" and as a child is being sexually abused spoke about.

Bennigton told Kerrang, ''I don't drink. I choose to be sober now. I have drunk over the last six years, but I just don't want to be that person anymore''.

The singer has revealed in previous interviews that he was molested at seven-years-old: ''If I think back to when I was really young, to when I was being molested, to when all these horrible things were going on around me, I shudder."
